The Weeping Chamber |
| Author:
Sigmund Brouwer |
| Subject:
a novel about the cross |
| Review:
Sigmund Brouwer has written an exciting novel that follows a
man, named Simeon, as he travels to Jerusalem for the
Passover. He is wrestling with trials in his life, and
is struggling with whether or not to take his own
life. He happens to arrive in Jerusalem at the same
time Yeshua (Jesus of Nazareth) arrives on the back of a
donkey. The novel follows Simeon as he interacts with
the events surrounding the week leading up to Christ's death
on the cross. This book provides a fresh look at the
Passion week. A fun, and moving book to read. |
